Where Did My Babies Go?
You turn around one day and realize your babies are all almost adults! How did that happen?
I told them not to grow and not to get older, why, why? I even threatened to lock them in bed and put boards at their feet so they would stay the same size...but it happened. One is even taller than me now and they are all smarter than me. I can't even help them with their homework anymore. How I miss the days when they would fall asleep in my arms with sweat dripping from their frog hair and their sweet breath sweeping across my chest. When you couldn't hug them enough or even get away long enough to go to the bathroom alone. And they would like you to stay while they went, they couldn't do it alone. Now, they yell for toilet paper and make you leave it at the door...they couldn't have you see them sitting on the toilet. Oh, I miss my babies yet can't wait (actually I can) for them to bring their babies home to me!!
